Day 1 Arrival Bubaneshwar
Arrival at Bhubaneswar , also known as the cathedral city of India , the city is dotted with more than 1000 temples. Meet and Assistance at airport. Transfer to Hotel. half day city tour of Jain caves and state tribal museum ( closed on Mondays ).
Day 2 Bubaneshwar
Full day city tour of ancient temples of Lingaraj , Mukteshwar , Parshurameswar , Rajarani , 64 yogini temple , peace pagoda at Dhauli , evening at Ekamra haat. Overnight at Bhubaneswar.
Day 3 Bubaneshwar - Bhitarkanika
Morning drive to Bhitarkanika National Park, home of the largest Eusterine crocodiles , measuring almost 20 feet long. en route Visit Traditional Hinduistic villages on the way. Overnight at Bhitarkanika resort.
Day 4 Bhitarkanika
After completing park entry formalities , proceed for boat ride in mangrove forests of Bhitarkanika , where you can see the eusterine crocodiles basking in the sun , a variety of Birds , nature walk in the mangrove forests and finally visit the Crocodile museum and crocodile breeding center. Overnight at Bhitarkanika Resort.
Day 5 Bhitarkanika -Dhenkanal
Drive to Dhenkanal , on the way visit excavated buddhist sites at Laitagiri and Ratnagiri. Evening visit Joranda Monastery , home to the Mahima Sadhus , a cult derived from Hinduism. Overnight at Dhenkanal.
Day 6 Dhenkanal – Puri
After breakfast proceed towards Puri , enroute visit Nuapatna textile village famous for Double Ikat techniques ( tie and dye) . Also visit Sadeibareni dhokra craft village. Overnight at puri
Dag 7 Puri / excursion Konark
Morning visit the famous sun temple at Konark also known as the Black Pagoda , this temple is known for its architecture on stone and is the most fascinating structure in Odisha. Later visit famous grand road of Puri to see the majestic Jagganath temple from an old Library roof top. Soft walk in and around the bylanes of the temple filled with pilgrims from all over the world. Overnight at Puri.
Day 8 Puri - Gopalpur-on-sea via Chilika
After breakfast check out from Puri , Drive to Raghurajpur heritage village , famous for its folk paintings . further Drive towards Gopalpur on Sea , stop by at Mangalajodi back waters of Chilika Lake . Boating on Country boats to see migratory birds from proximity.Evening free at Gopalpur on sea.
Day 9 Gopalpur - Bataguda
Today we drive towards Bataguda , territory of the tattoo faced Kondh tribes . Check into Pushangia Eco cottages in close proximity of the tattoo faced kondh villages. Overnight at Pushangia eco cottages.
Day 10 Bataguda
Full day walk in the tattoo faced kondh villages . The women tattoo their faces like that of a tiger which is a striking feature of this tribe. Walk and explore various villages around Pushangia , get to know their culture and traditions.
Day 11 Bataguda - Rayagada
Exit bataguda and drive towards Rayagada . Evening visit Majhigouri temple and evening local baazar.Day 12 Rayagada - Jeypore via Chatikona
Morning visit Chattikona weekly market of the Dongoriya and Desia Kondhs. The dongoriya Kondhs live on Niyamgiri Hills and walk down to Chattikona on Wednesdays to sell local products. Government has put a restriction of Photography in this weekly market. Further proceed to Jeypore , visit Kuvi Kondh and Mali villages on the way ( micro tribes that practise agriculture).
Day 13 Jeypore / visit Onkadeli market
After breakfast drive to Onkudelli , weekly market . This market commences only on Thursdays and is frequently visited by the Bondas and Gaddabas. Photography is restricted in this market as per Govt. Guidelines . Over the years the Bondas have preserved their rich traditions. Local products like Rice beer , vegetables and fruits are sold here. After lunch visit Ollar Gadaba villages. Return back to Jeypore
Day 14 Jeypore / visit Kunduli market
Morning visit the largest weekly market of South Odisha at Kunduli. You can find the Paroja tribes here ( the largest ethnic group in Odisha ) . later visit Pottery makers village , bada paroja village ( sub group of Paroja tribe ) , and Jagganath temple . Overnight at Jeypore.
Day 15 Jeypore / visit Baligaon market
Morning visit cattle market of the Dharuva tribe at Baligaon > Later visit Bhumia villages and sacred caves of Gupteswar. Overnight at Jeypore
Day 16 Jeypore - Jagdalpur via Kotpad
Today you finish your tour and head towards Chattisgarh , on the way we stop by at Kotpad textile village. Later proceed further towards Jagdalpur.Day 17 Jagdalpur / visit Kanger, Topakal weekmarket
Morning proceed to Kanger valley national park . Visit Kutumeswar Caves , tirathgarh waterfall , bison horn muria gond tribal villages. the Gond tribes in Chattisgarh are known for their Dormitory system . Possible to see Bison Horn Muria dance as per request. Return back to Jagdalpur.** Photography is possible in CHattisgarh and there are no restriction . Possibilty to see Rooster fight in these markets
Day 18 Jagdalpur / visit Muria and Maria Gond villages
Morning visit Maria Gond & Deer horn Muria gond villages . Later visit Chitrakoot falls known as Niagra falls of India. Also visit Jagdalpur Museum .Overnight at Jagdalpur.Day 19 Jagdalpur - Kanker via Kondagaon
Morning exit from Jagdalpur and drive towards Kanker . en route visit Kondagaon Metal craft village. Overnight at Kanker Palace / Hotel Lake viewDag 20 Kanker - Kawardha
After breakfast proceed towards kawardha . Evening free for own activities at Kawardha Palace / Bhoramdeo Jungle retreatDay 21 Kawardha
Morning visit Baiga tribal Villages , Local markets as per dates . After lunch visit famus Bhoramdeo temple. Overnight at Kawardha Palace / Bhoramdeo Jungle retreat
Day 22 depart Raipur
